Doctors

Forgot to mention I want to the Doc's yesterday.
I had been a bad boy cause I had been feeling like myself again I had cut down the tablets to one every other day.
Of course having a bad day the other day did set me back I feel and the doctor says if I want to change the course I should really consult him first.
I also have a tore ligament in my foot which has been there for some time which he says probably keeps healing and then getting ripped again.
Got to relax my feet often, soak em at night and message them using a rolling pin.
Hmmm "MUM do we have a rolling pin." "and where's the foot spa"
I'm off to find the spa and the tea tree oil.

No wonder you ached when you were here - you cld have borrowed my spa lol Not sure Id have stretched to a foot massage though - there are some things you just dont do for friends rofl

You should NEVER massage an area with muscle/ligament damage, because it can make it worse!

I can only do what the Doctor tells me.
"Use a rolling pin to massage the instep were the pain is most prominent, stretch the foot and calf muscles and soak your feet regularly".

I asked my tame masseuse/physio and she said that GENTLE stretching is OK, but you shouldn't put pressure on it, and especially don't use your thumbs to massage it. She didn't like the rolling pin idea at all, saying that it probably wouldn't help much, but it would hurt and remind you not to do it. She reckons that rest is the best idea, initially.
