Found The Culprit

Think I have found the thing that made me sick the other day.
Poisoned by my own mother!
Yes I went into the fridge today and saw an open pack of sliced corned beef.
Thinking Hhhhhmmmm will have that for a little snack on some bread.
Only to discover that it was past it's use by date by over a week.
Now I only had it with a cold meat salad the night before I was sick.
Could this have caused it I think so.
Feeling much better now thankfully.

Balmano Castle

Tried to get to Balmano Castle too today but its private castle and got a ticking off for taking pics outside he he AH well not to worry.

Elcho Castle

It's been such a nice day that after the shopping I went and had another wander through Elcho Castle. Even Went inside.
Took about an hour to sit out on the grass around the castle on my blanket and have a little picnic. A tuna sandwhich and a Crunchie. Not very nice regurgitated.
Then into the castle.
Bigger than I thought it would be to be honest.
Looks like they would have had about 5 floors.
Althought most of the floors have rotted away.
Took loads of pics as you can imagine.
One thing that really struck me is that they had a loo in every room appart from the ground floor.
Strange the things you notice.
It's so peaceful there I love that castle worth visiting to anyone not been.
Me guess I will keep going.

Sick Davey

Poor me been feeling sick all day.
Got up this morning and boaked in the shower.
Been feeling a little shitty all day.
Runny nose, itchy eyes, and top it all I have been sick.
Hopefully won't be like this for long hate being ill.

New Mobile

Got myself a new mobile today.
The new Flext tariff on T-mobile.
My phone has cost me a whack over the last few months and O2 have really crap tariffs that don't suit and they don't even match the competitors offers.
So I'm popping it down to the lowest tariff on O2 for the rest of the contract and taking out this.
The new phone is the Nokia N70 and got a free Gps Navigation called Nokia's route 66 for free.
Should be handy for any trips planned at least I won't get lost going to Milton Keynes

Movie of the Week

Watched "Garden State" last night staring Zach Braff Of Scrubs fame.
Its a kind of Romantic Black Comedy full of odd scenes of grave digging and drug culture mixed with romance and depression.
Weird but a good film none the less.
Worth a look anyway.

Hay Ho

Well it's really hit me today, the hay fever has kicked in big time.
In the last 10 mins I have counted over 20 sneezes.
I'm bunged up, my eyes puffed up like tennis balls in me eye sockets.
Eyes itching like hell.
I hate it when it's summer :-(
Off to the chemist to get some tabs me thinks.

Morning After

" woke up this morning feeling......"(Beach Boys) well shit actually hangover from hell.
Realised I hadn't set the alarm so I was running a little late.
That will teach me to drink to 3 in the morning then take an hour to walk Hazel home and back home for some kip.
Didn't realise it but Vodak and Midouri is not a clever mix.
Or tasty for that matter !
Now I'm off to me bed to get some real kip.

Friday At The Pub

Went out to the kirklands last night with Hazel.
Had a good night meet up with Stoff and Steve drunk a load then off to Steve's new pad for more (you really need to get a better drink selection dude).
Enjoyed myself had a laugh, good to get out again to the pub it's been a while.

Wasted Sunsets

Doing this all backwards today went out to take these having seen the sky from my window.
Thanks to my assistant for realising the sky was pink.

Babyfaced And Double Chinned

Yes Folks having threatened to for weeks I finally gave in and took off the beard.
Who know weather it will be long term or short all I know is if it stays like this I gotta shave every morning GGGRRRRRR.
Still I fancied the change.

Forgot To Say

The Daily Record last week did a review of the Live gig in Glasgow.
Now you gotta be a little cynical to wonder why he gave Live 1 out of 5 stars and yet 5 out of 5 for some country western singer who no ones ever heard of before.
Either the guy wasn't at the gig I was at or he is not the best of people to give an objective opinion of a gig.
Ok I know I am a little Biased.

Cycle

Out today for a different route again.
I have decided to have a look at what is around the Kinross area while I cycle.
Kind of kill 2 birds with one stone, find more picture taking spots, and get fit.
Today's route took me out to Drum and Tullibole Castle.
14.7 miles today at average speed of 11.2 mph and a max speed of 25.9 mph.
1hour 18.53 mins on the clock.
Nice run but thew road was very exposed so the wind was tuff to go against.

Dam Insomnia

Sat up to after 3am this morning cause I was't tired.
These pills have my sleep patern all to pot and when I'm not tired it reallyis a problem sleeping.
Thing is I run around all day yawning my head off.
Woke at 6 this morning too so at most I got 2 hours sleep, then up for an hour then sleep till 10.
God can't I just have a good nights sleep like last weeks 12 hour passout.

Visit

Went to pay a visit to Hazel tonight too so I here you saying ABOUT TIME TOO !
Well yes I know I haven't been a good boy not been round in a few months.
Still it was a good little chat and we are meeting up for a drink in the Kirklands tomorrow night.

Evening Stroll

Went for an evening stroll tonight to stretch out the legs.
Well if you can't guess already yes I went looking for my little ruin .
Cairnavain!
Well it's a lost civilization lol I spent about an hour walking round the forest looking for the dam thing.
It may only be a clearing now in the trees.
Still the walk was peaceful.
Hey ho there is alway another day to find it.

The Cycle

KILLER !!!!!!
As you can probably guess I wasn't very quick today.
Wheezing like a set of old bagpipes on the way up lol.
Still 10.5 miles done today, althought it feels more like 100 now.
Climbed from about 100ft above sea level to just over 320ft.
Only good thing is it's easier on the way back lol.
And wow what a way back topped 35.7 mph fastest I have been on a bike in my life and boy was it scary to find my brakes are not up to the challege of stopping me at these speeds.
WOW WEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Only a 10.3 mph moving average today so it took an hour on the move.
Won't tell ya how long I stopped for lol.
Wasn't a good idea today having not been out since the 16th but I fancied a change and I found an old ruin on the map so I thought what the hell.
Unfortunately the ruin was off the road in a forest and I didn't want to leave the bike unattended. So it was a little bit of a wasted trip.

The Long Climb

Went for a cycle today tokk some pics the first is from about 240 feet above sea level having started way down there at 100 feet above sea level.
Well so my map says anyway lol.
This was taken about hale way up where I eventually cycled too a little village of 3 houses called
Stronachie.

Congratulations

Well done to the Carolina Hurricanes for lifting the Stanley Cup.
An exciting game it was score ending 3-1 with an empty net goal to end Edminton's hopes of winning.
Big well done to Cam Ward too who picked up the Conn Smythe Trophy for an outstanding performance in goal. Man of the tournament having been a rookie keeper till an injury the carolina's main keeper in the first game of the finals.

Hockey

Well tonights the night the final of the Stanley cup finals.
Edminton have managed to make a wonderful comeback to make it 3 games each so it's all down to tonights play.
The game is live on channel five however I won't be staying up to watch as it could go on till at least 3am.
Hhhmmmm I do have a late start however.
Thing I'm gonna support Edminton on this one they have played some fantastic hockey over the last few games.
Good luck to both teams anyway.

Shattered

No blog last night sorry but the thing is I was so wiped out after the weekend that when I got home from work yesterday I lay in bed to catch up on some telly and with in 5 mins was out for the count.
12 hours later I feel dam good.
Need to do that more often.
These tablets seem to take their toll too they really make you want to sleep too.
