Banks CONS

OK in the last week we have been given over £50 in bank charges.

1. For the bank paying out a dd and putting us 22p over drawn £30 charge.

2. for going over by £3.55 on a card transaction, on a card which does not have and should not be authorised over the cash in the account. £28 charge.

Bank of Scotland the biggest cons I have ever met or had the displeasure to deal with.

I wonder if I write to them in email for and charge/invoice them £30 for making a compliant will they pay me for the email after all it costs me every time they email me.

I'm thinking of starting my own bank I wonder if i can get any of the banks out there to lend me the money to start one up ???

After all they know that I too could con people out of money as they do.

Remember of course that I can integrate an insurance company into my bank that way I can con even more money out of people.

I still say that the best way to fight the banks is a cash withdrawl protest.

Everyone in the UK take out as much of thier cash out of their banks as possible.
This might make the think about how they do business even if half the people in the uk took out £30 out of their account and not spend it.That would be over £900,000,000 out of the banking system for a week. watch the buggers share prices fall after that.
We need to show them that its our money that makes them theirs and that conning us is not good for business.
Who's With me ??????

Holidays

Well the holidays are over not that we really got any this year.
It's been a few weeks of disaster.
First Elaine's dad was taken into hospital having collapsed with some kind of infection.
I went off with this ear infection (still off but feeling much better)
Should be back at work on Monday
Stewart got injured at the bmx place, A split shin after a collision with a skateboarder, so he got 3 stitches. Ouch!
Now Elaine has come down with a chest infection and we had to rush her off in an ambulance last night, she had an asthma attack.
As you can see soo much fun lol.
To top it all while we were in the waiting room for Elaine stewart bust his stitches by running about outside so I had both of them in different parts of the hospital at the same time DOH!!!

Telly

I had thought that telly was going to be boring recently what with Battlestar Galactica and Lost finished for while but it would appear there has been enough to keep me occupied.
Hyperdrive has returned to BBC for it's 2nd series (it's the Poor mans Red Dwarf ( whatever happened Red Dwarf the Movie)).
Hero's has started on BBC 2 good so far and only on episode 3.
I downloaded the full 2nd season of My Name is Earl very funny better than the first season can't wait for season 3.
Scrubs starts its 7th season in the Us in september and so does Medium also Journeyman and The Bionic woman are new to the telly sometime late this year should be a good one.
I also watched Jackyl which was superb.
Who cares if the BBc and Itv are conning people but fixing competitions I want more scifi keep up the good work guys.
I'm off the watch heros now ( downloaded shamed :-$ but I couldn't wait to see it all.

On a Lighter Note

Went to see The Simpson's Movie last week.
Bloody Marvelous!
If you like the Simpsons it's well worth going to see.
It gets 5 out of 5 from me.

Bank Charges.

If You don't already know the Office of Fair Trade Is taking major banks to court in a test case for their unfair bank charges http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6918140.stm This does mean quite a lot for the banking industry and a lot to consumers.
In the UK we allegedly have a system of free banking. OK we only pay if we get over drawn of bounce a DD or Cheque.
They are now saying that if the oft case goes in favour of the oft that the banks will have to amend their banking structure to a pay as you go banking service.
According to Sky money page this could cost the average consumer £300 per year in banking charges based on a fee for every transaction.
Now there are 2 ways this can go,
1. We have a better banking system cause the banks will have to work harder to get our money into their banks eg. we shop around for the cheapest fees and the most interest eventually someone will come up with free banking again.
2. To save our own money we withdraw all money from all our banks to save paying charges if the banks have no money they can't function.
The thing that gets me is that the banks get our money and get to use it as they see fit while they have it and make profit on it, more profit than they pay out in interest each year I would bet.
So if a banks wants me to give them my money each month why should I pay for the service shouldn't they be paying me for the benefit of using my money?

The Saga Continues

Yes the saga with my car continues 17 months now since my car was damaged. The insurance company still haven't paid out.
Kyle has written a letter to the Managing Director of Norwich Union in a bid to possibly resolve the issue quicker but after almost 3 weeks there has been only a reply to say that the matter will be delbt with within 10 days (of course that was 2 weeks ago).
"Quote Me happy" Yes but cheap services really do seem to be poor Quality too.
I recieved a letter today from norwich union today offering me Life Insurance cover.
Almost choked on my breakfast they can't even handle my car would I truct them with my life???
If your friends and collegues out there are looking for insurance feel free to steer them well clear of Norwich Union.

In A Spin

It' been a while I know.
I am off work just now with a viral ear infection so I am having dizzy spells which although I laugh as I take the odd stumble in the short times I take to wander betweeen the bedroom and the bathroom or the living room I know it's not really funny at all.
On a happier note though I have been off the Anti-Depressants now for about 3 weeks and I'm still my happy cheery self.
